Is your internet connection not working while you’re abroad?

  • Data roaming might be disabled on your device. Go to Settings > Cellular for enabling the Data Roaming option.

Did you enable EU-internet?

  • When you’re abroad and you want to use mobile internet, leave the EU-internet option switched OFF.
  • You’ll find this option via Settings, Cellular.
  • Because: The EU-internet switch is to be switched on only when you subscribe yourself to a (temporary) local contract with a local operator abroad.

Have you tried a soft reset?

Is flight mode enabled?

  • Flight mode prevents any connectivity, including phone calls, internet etc.

  • If your mobile internet seems slow, you might have configured the wrong settings, or are in an area with poor 3G coverage.

Issues regarding making and/or receiving calls?

  • If you have issues with making or receiving calls, you might be suffering from bad network coverage. This is most likely as a result of your location, for example a garage or concrete building. See whether a change of location helps.
  • If a change of location doesn’t help, check the network coverage in your area.
