  • Start screen.
  • Scroll to the right.

  • Scroll down.
  • Choose Settings.

  • Choose mobile network.

  • Under Data connection, choose the text box.

  • Choose add internet apn.

  • Under APN, enter internet. In case you are using a prepaid phone, enter internet.
  • Under Username, enter nothing.
  • Under Password, enter nothing.

  • Under Proxy server (URL), enter nothing.
  • Under Proxy port, enter nothing.

  • Select the save symbol.
  • Return to the Start screen.

  • With the internet settings configured properly on your HTC Windows Phone 8X, you will be able to connect to the internet using mobile data.
